  1. That is a hoot. Where ever did you find it?

  2. Tofu Robot and I have been together for about a year or so...I found her online...not sure how...but this little puppy is hard to get...it's sold out almost everywhere.

  4. Yes, what a good way to spend my hard-earned money, right?

I bought her with the idea of bringing her to work (call me sexist, but Tofu Robot is "she" because she's pink) and leaving her in my office to cheer me up...but I just didn't have the heart to leave her in that horrible place on a daily basis...:)

  5. If she makes you happy then she is the perfect thing to spend your money on. I have a few things like that myself.

I know what you mean about not wanting to leave things you care about at work. There were things I didn't like leaving in my office either.

I had a little table top fountain in my office that made me feel a little more peaceful at work. That may work for you too.

  6. That's a good idea... maybe something that didn't have qualities like eyes and mouth would be easier to leave at the office...some people keep fish in their offices, and I even worry about them...

  7. I considered fish too, but worried they would be depressed in an empty office all weekend.

Also, I wasn't certain how they would do without food all weekend.

  8. Exactly! Sometimes, if I wake up early in the morning and can't sleep for whatever reason, I lay there and worry about fish in certain people's offices...thinking, if there were an earthquake how could I rescue the fish?

Now, I know that's a bit obsessive, but the poor fishies... my animal friends have to be home with me, so I can look after them everyday. Could never keep them in a work office...never.

  9. Here is a big confession you will love.

A few years ago when I temporarily came out of retirement I was very worried about the felines being home alone (like MacCauley Caulkin). I wanted Dan to install a nanny cam for the cats. Really ... what if something happened like someone broken in and I wasn't home.

He actually looked into for me but decided that since we would need to have a multiple cameras all over the house it was cost prohibative.

You aren't the only one that worries too much about animals. ;)

  11. I looked into installing a webcam at home to watch our critters too, but you have to keep your computer on all day and the hubby put the kobosh on it.
